Ardsley PTA Grant Application for Teachers

Every year, the Ardsley PTA allocates funds to each school to be used for Cultural Arts, Activities and Programming. The PTA works with the administration in each building to use these funds to enhance curriculum throughout the district.

In addition, the Ardsley PTA is pleased to provide teacher mini-grants for direct classroom use. The grants provide enhancements to the curriculum through the purchase of materials or resources not covered in the school budget, or in the school’s PTA budget. Individual classroom grants have a limit of $300. Entire grade, department or subject area proposals can exceed $300.

Previously funded grants have included books, magazine subscriptions, instructional DVDs, science equipment, bird study materials, classroom supplies, Project Adventure equipment, Leggo Mindstorms Education sets and the Pearls of Wisdom program.

To apply for a grant, please submit a proposal with the following information: description of the project or item; including how it fits into the curriculum; the approximate number of students who will benefit; how they will benefit; and the sustainability of the purchased materials. An itemized budget with all items needed must also be included.

All grant requests are to be submitted via email to info@ardsleypta.org with your building principal copied on the email. All mini-grants must be approved for submission by a building principal. The PTA Executive Board will go over any mini-grant requests during the time of their next monthly meeting and will follow up accordingly.

We are always excited to hear your ideas and look forward to receiving any and all proposals all year round!

Thank you, Ardsley PTA
