Executive Board - Term begins July 1, 2023

As a voting member of the PTA Executive Board, you are a part of the decision-making process. Each role requires attendance (in-person or virtual) at monthly meetings and availability for special events. Board positions are a 2-year commitment.
PTA Fundraising – Partner with a current fundraising board member to participate in more than a dozen fundraisers organized by the PTA. Collaborate with building VPs and schools to oversee events such as but not limited to: Harlem Wizards game, spring plant sale, CRS and AMS Book Fair.
PTA Treasurer – Oversee the annual budget and track all accounts payable and receivable. Knowledge of QuickBooks is preferred. This position requires availability to attend fundraising events, deposit money and provide monthly financial status updates. Other responsibilities include maintaining insurance and bonding requirements, coordinating tax return with an outside accountant, and overseeing online sales websites and MemberHub.
PTA Secretary – This position involves detailed record-keeping and taking minutes at all PTA meetings for distribution to all Board members. This role is also responsible for submitting Facility Use Forms to the district for all PTA events.

Committee chairs facilitate Ardsley PTA fundraisers and special events across all three schools. Each position is a two-year commitment unless otherwise noted.
Ardsley Cares Day (2) – Work with the executive board, building VP and community partners to organize a one-day volunteer event open to the whole community. This role requires overseeing activity coordinators, securing donations from local businesses and promoting events across the schools and community.
AMS Book Fair (2) – Coordinate with VP Fundraising and AMS VP to run the multi-day spring book fair. Organize volunteers, communicate with book vendor, sort inventory, set up and break down event. Assist students and manage book sales at the event.
CRS Book Fair (4) – Coordinate with VP Fundraising and CRS VP of run the multi-day fall book fair at CRS. Organize volunteers, communicate with book vendor, sort inventory, set up and break down event. Assist students and manage book sales at the event.
Artwork Original Works (1) – Coordinate with VP Fundraising and art teachers at CRS to run the spring art fundraiser. Coordinate with volunteers to distribute supplies and artwork, communicate with vendor and manage sales.
Harlem Wizards (1) + 2 shadows – Coordinate with VP Fundraising to run the Wizards games in the winter. Communicate with CRS community, Harlem Wizards, and VP of school building for organization and promotion. Oversee volunteers to manage ticket sales, check-in, merchandise, concession and raffle sales.
Hospitality (1) – Coordinate with Co-Presidents to help provide refreshments for various PTA-sponsored, school and community events.
Welcome Liaison (1) – Coordinate with Co-Presidents on welcoming new residents to the school district via email and special events.
International Day (3) – Coordinate with CRS VP to run the annual event. Organize volunteers, oversee setup and breakdown of the one-day event.
Book Swap (2) – Coordinate with CRS VP for a one-week event. Organize volunteers, collect and sort books, donate remaining supplies.
CRS Lost and Found (2) – Coordinate with CRS VP. Sort items in lost and found and share social media posts. Donate unclaimed items on a quarterly basis.
